Transforming what was once a great paint store which added color to the world will re–open as a coffee shop named after a woman who strolled Xenia Ave as a child.
Susie Frei grew up just a few houses down at 713 Xenia Avenue.
600 Xenia Avenue sits caddy corner to St. Mary’s church – the place Susan was baptized, married, and buried – a life story straight out of a movie. Now, her memory lives on in a small coffee shop where people gather together to sit and talk. Sharing good times and fond memories.
Renovations are underway, in order to raise the needed capital, coffee club memberships are being pre-sold before opening. An opening date of March 14, 2021 is desired as it marks the one year anniversary of Susan’s passing, but will be subject to change.
With renovations being made to the patio, plans are in the works to sell engraved bricks. Those items will be added when available, plaques also.
